The Agape Moms Blog is a SHARED PLATFORM where YOUR VOICE IS VALUABLE and EVERY STORY IS WORTH TELLING, because each one of our stories is part of God’s grand story, the story of how Jesus saved the day, and how Jesus makes all things new, again and again, for you and for me.

As each of OUR SMALL GLIMMERS of Hope come together, it will IGNITE ONE GIANT FLAME, one that gives all the glory to God, and takes the focus off ourselves. It’s all about Jesus!

We invite everyday moms to BE BRAVE and SHARE YOUR STORIES on the Agape Moms Blog because we know that God has wired us all with the desire to have MEANING IN OUR LIVES, and He can even redeem our darkest seasons by using it to help point others back to Jesus. The greater purpose God has given each of us is KNOWING GOD and MAKING HIM KNOWN.

Sharing on the blog is one way to ACTIVATE GODS UNIQUE GIFTING & PURPOSE for your life! We aren’t going to quench our need to matter with any number of accomplishments, pounds lost or dollar signs next to our name, it’s only found in partnering with God in His Kingdom work.

It’s WORTH IT TO SHARE THE HARD THINGS, to speak into the noisy social media world that is constantly shouting at us things we should do to mask our need for Jesus.

ITS WORTH IT TO SPEAK THE TRUTH OF THE GOSPEL INTO OUR MESSY MOM LIVES, to shout out OUR stories of redemption. We’ve come to realize that we in fact CANNOT RESCUE OURSELVES, ONLY GOD CAN! (And He does, over and over again)

ITS WORTH IT TO BE BRAVE TO HELP OTHER MOMS FIND THE LIGHT IN THEIR PRESENT DARKNESS and to realize the ONLY ONE WHO CAN FIX IT IS JESUS!

When centered on Jesus, our stories have THE POWER TO CHANGE LIVES, even when they may still be unfinished, they can be used by God for good (Romans 8:28) and to comfort others in their darkest times (2 Cor 1:3-7).

Laura is married to her Bible-college sweetheart of almost 10 years, has three kiddos, and is a self-professed "hotmess rescued by Jesus." Laura's passion is seeing lives continually transformed by the gospel of Jesus Christ. Jesus radically transformed her life in high school, and sent her on a wild ride of loving God and others ever since. Since graduating from Moody Bible Institute with a BA in ministry in 2008, she's been part of various ministries, served in multiple leadership positions, and most recently, took the vision that God gave her for her local Agape Moms and put it into website form. Her mission here is inspiring moms to make disciples as they go about everyday, messy mom-life.
