Two Boxes, One Family, Same Mission- Join Us!

These both showed up on my doorstep today, representing two of my Agape Moms families across the country in FL & WA, and they were such a huge encouragement to me after a lot of discouragement lately!

One box was a gift from my original Agape Mamas in FL, you guys made me cry when I opened this signed and framed magazine article of our group featuring the story of how we came to be, all written in my own words taken off the Agape Moms website. What an amazing surprise. I never imagined the burden God gave me for women to experience the gospel implications for all of life and the dream to create a safe space for believing and not-yet believing moms to grow together in Jesus would not just become my local reality, but would snowball across the country and even pop up in Australia. THANK YOU all so much for being part of this story God is writing! I loved seeing God highlight Agape Moms in the news and watch Him continue to expand Agape Moms Tampa Bay! I miss you guys so much.

Next to that box on my doorstep was this box of business cards for my new tribe here in WA, Agape Moms Tehaleh, which is launching on MONDAY after about a year of praying, imagining and believing God to do it again. Since then, the website was born. Here in Tehaleh, God has brought so many women into my life in such a short time (I moved here just 6 months ago) who are making this launch possible. I never could have done it without the other mamas who have gone through the Agape Moms training or signed up for a servant leadership team already. God is on the move- right now pre-launch, we already have 70+ moms in our Agape Moms Tehaleh group, 32 study books of the Gospel Centered Parent pre-paid, and the only explanation to all of this is GOD who is drawing hearts and bringing us all together.

Whatever God has burdened you with and given you a dream for His glory, don’t give up. I’ve had a lot of discouragement and trials lately that at times made me want to give up. There’s been a million steps of faith behind the scenes over the years that only God has seen me take, which have required me to live outside of my comfort zone and in such a way where I’m desperate for God to come through. We don’t always get to see results, have people encourage us to see it through, or have packages like this show up on our doorstep at just the right time. My encouragement to you is- don’t give up!

The trenches of motherhood can be so dark without Jesus, or purposeless even if we know Christ but don’t have a space to live out our God given purpose of loving others and making disciples. This is where Agape Moms comes in. It’s a space to experience the unconditional Agape Love of God and then share that love with each other. It’s a family where we can invite other moms who both know Christ or who need a safe space to explore Jesus for the first time in our #bringyourmess atmosphere. Christ left us with the mission to make disciples, and that’s where Agape Moms comes in and makes that possible for moms right now in our season of motherhood.
