Happy Monday back after Thanksgiving break. Woo, what a weekend, huh? Not only did our family move into our new home about a week ago (with 3 kids in tow), but we managed to cook an allergy friendly thanksgiving dinner, and then deck the halls for Christmas.

I know I’m not the only one feeling the rush and busyness that this time of year brings, and while I absolutely love Christmas time, there’s a lot about it that wearies my soul. Theres so much swirling around us and if we don’t make a very intentional effort, we too easily become distracted from the purpose of it all, which is why I’m so excited that our theme this week is keeping Christ at the center of Christmas!

I need this encouragement and I hope you’ll share your ideas with us on our Coffee Talk day on Thursday! I look forward to sharing some ideas, resources recommendations from friends, and to share about a new advent study by a friend that is being given away for FREE tomorrow on the blog.

Today as the holidays begin to ramp up, I pray that we will all rest in Christ and the peace that only He brings. Let’s prepare our hearts room to celebrate the wonder of our King, born in a manager, who came to live and die for you and me. 🌟

“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 9:6
