It’s Friday but Sunday is Coming

It’s Friday, but Sunday’s coming! No matter how dark or hopeless things seem, we have the hope of a living and risen Savior!He has conquered sin and death, restoring and securing our relationship with God- not based on anything we could ever do, but solely on what He did by dying on the cross and rising from the dead. This is the good news of Jesus!

Before we can celebrate Sunday, we have to remember Friday. Let’s feel the weight of the sacrifice and cultivate the gratitude that He died for us.

“God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.” 2 Corinthians 5:21

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9

“If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.” For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” Romans 10:9-13
